Skill Development

Department is responsible for co-ordination of Skill Development efforts across the districts, removal of disconnect between demand and supply of skilled manpower, building the vocational and technical training framework, skill up-gradation, building of new skills and innovative thinking not only for existing jobs but also jobs that are to be created.

For the convenience of people of the district a “Kaushal Darpan”, a skill development portal has been launched for Panipat district. This portal is a one-stop skill directory, wherein students can look for the skill courses available in the district, aligning with their aspirations. Apart from this, it also covers the snapshots of various events and DSC meetings conducted in the district, to strengthen the district skill ecosystem.
